Challenge
CityBridge Education works to create a public school system worthy of all children. We were asked to redesign and build a new website for the Washington, DC-based incubator. CBE wanted to improve the user experience, present its work and impact in a clear and concise manner, and structure the website to be flexible and easy to update internally. It also wanted to create a distinct and engaging visual language while maintaining elements of the existing brand.
Approach
After a thorough landscape analysis, we restructured how the user would navigate the website and rewrote most of the content to make it more digestible. We then created a clean, vibrant, and well-organized design focused on color, typography, and subtle animation to bring CBE's narrative to life. We developed a modular design system upon which all site pages can easily be created. This gives CBE the ability to mix and match design elements easily and effectively for the types of content they need to add to the site.
