Challenge
When the Washington Chorus asked us to help re-release its beloved Christmas album as a limited-edition two-disc vinyl set in honor of the 15th anniversary of the recording, we were all in. The goal was to give the album a fresh look that still honored the original CD’s cover art. We needed to create something festive and nostalgic, but also bold and beautiful enough to stand out as a collector’s piece.
Approach
We leaned into the magic of the season for the jacket design with a playful snow globe illustration featuring chorus members singing around the Capitol Tree—a nod to the original cover. To make the vinyl extra special, we went with custom red and teal pressings (thanks to Furnace Record Pressing in Alexandria, VA) and bold center labels that added even more personality. The result is joyful, eye-catching, and full of heart, just like the music itself.
