Building American Energy
Challenge
Ørsted is a global leader in clean energy, developing and operating wind farms, solar farms, energy storage systems, and bioenergy plants worldwide. The company’s American office partnered with Eighty2degrees for ongoing design support across a range of deliverables to assist its growth and development in the U.S. market. After an in-depth debrief with the global and Americas marketing teams on the company's current and future brand initiatives, we set to work on helping Ørsted educate the Americas audience on its renewable projects and technologies.
Approach
During a pivotal time in the American energy industry, we designed Ørsted’s inaugural 2025 American Action Report, balancing clean typography and structured, minimalist grids with modern photo collages and a refined color palette. To support the release of the action report, we created promotional materials, including banners and small handout cards, that showcased Ørsted’s rich image library of clean energy in action. We led the messaging and design for Ørsted Americas' internal Merch Shop campaign, crafting an animated ad, flyers, and a web store banner that spotlighted sustainably made merchandise to connect with eco-conscious employees. We assisted with the design and animation of a series of regionally targeted digital ads that highlight the voices of local community members, partners, and suppliers. The ads lead to interviews where you can hear first-hand how Ørsted and the clean energy industry are benefiting Americans across the country.
