Building Liberated and Just Schools
Challenge
Kindred Communities, an organization that collaborates with school communities to create antiracist and liberated schools, wanted to create its first-ever impact report that would highlight who they are, their accomplishments, and their plans for future expansion. They planned to use the report for development, fundraising, recruitment, and marketing.
Approach
Using their existing branding and library of curated images, the report was designed with “swimmers” (in-depth readers) and “skimmers” (specific info seekers) in mind. Through engaging infographics and iconography, easily digestible content sections, quotes, and profiles, the story of Kindred’s vision for schools to be places where every young person is valued, celebrated, and educated is able to shine.
