Bainum Family Foundation & WeVision EarlyEd

Envisioning Child Care that Works

Challenge

WeVision EarlyEd, an initiative of our client, the Bainum Family Foundation (BFF), is dedicated to transforming the child care system in Washington, DC, and across the country. Through our partnership with BFF, we were tasked with creating a cohesive suite of materials to inspire systemic change in early childhood education and care. The deliverables included full-length reports and summaries in Spanish and English, as well as a microsite and PowerPoint template.

Approach

We elevated the existing WeVision EarlyEd brand into a more sophisticated visual language. An expanded typographic system and a refined grid structure introduce greater clarity, hierarchy, and depth, allowing the brand to better support and organize its rich, information-heavy content. We created a navigation system for both print and digital components that helps viewers and readers easily find the subject matter they are most interested in. We built the microsite with modules so that WeVision staff can easily update the site’s content. The modified color palette and color-treated imagery work together to create a professional and modern look that enforces the initiative's vision of a transformed education system.
