Climate Ready DC
Challenge
DC is no stranger to the impacts of climate change. So we worked with the city’s Department of Energy & Environment to create infographics about four climate-related issues and solutions, including heat, rising sea levels, severe storms, and heavy rain events.
Approach
The infographics needed to be designed for both print and online use, in a way that quickly highlights major climate issues facing DC residents, but also clearly outlines how the city and its residents can be proactive and responsive. Each one was modeled on a simple problem-solution wireframe, and then enhanced with soft color palettes, user-friendly illustrations, and straightforward copy.
