FP2030

Committing to Rights-Based Family Planning

Challenge

At the conclusion of 2020, the United Nations Foundation began a new initiative entitled Family Planning 2030 (FP2030), which would continue the push for all women and girls to have the freedom to lead healthy lives and make informed decisions about using contraception and having children. They needed a website where countries and other stakeholders could renew or make a new commitment to contributing to the largest community of practice on rights-based family planning in the world.

Approach

We created a website where governments and other stakeholders can make a commitment to removing barriers to the use of modern contraception. Users can learn about the new initiative, receive information on the steps they need to complete to make a commitment, and initiate the process for doing so. Our goal was to lay out the vision, stress the importance of joining this global effort, provide resources, and convert interest into action.
