Filling Gaps in Gender Data


Not all data is created equal. Data2X works to improve the quality, availability, and use of gender data to make a practical difference in the lives of women and girls worldwide through strategic partnerships, research, advocacy, and communications. We updated the organization's current website and designed their latest report, which highlights practical and scalable solutions to close gender data gaps. Data2X was not looking to undergo a complete rebranding project at this time, but wanted to freshen the organization's existing brand for their 10th anniversary.


With the existing brand in mind, we updated their brand toolkit. We expanded their color palette, incorporated new typography, augmented their use of compelling photography, introduced a system of rounded shapes and containers, and elevated the importance of their library of icons. Working with those new tools, we created a visually compelling and well-organized report and gave their website a cleaner, more modern makeover that allowed users to more easily understand Data2X's mission, key initiatives, and impact to date.
