In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, DC-based nonprofit New Futures pivoted from their typical fundraising routine and embarked on their first-ever digital storytelling and fundraising campaign, Power On. This campaign evokes forward momentum during the trying times of 2020. Its goal is to engage potential donors by sharing personal stories and testimonials from New Futures' Scholars. We were tasked with designing an identity for Power On, along with a suite of social media templates and other digital assets such as Zoom backgrounds.
With Power On's purpose in mind, we crafted a campaign logo that is bold, determined, forward-looking, and––for practical reasons––well-suited for the social media landscape. We also built out a campaign branding system, incorporating colors and angles from New Futures’ organizational identity. Our versatile templates for social media graphics are easy to edit, with plenty of variety in content and design, from carousel posts to photo-only options. Through Power On’s visual language, we hope to uplift and inspire viewers.
