Advocating for Healthy Kids

Challenge

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) advocates for policies that improve the health and wellbeing of children. With different business units often creating their own materials, AAP needed a way to streamline communications materials and ensure consistent messaging and brand representation.

Approach

We designed a suite of branded templates and print collateral that followed a cohesive look and feel. The goal was to create templates that could be used for both federal and state advocacy, as well as internal reporting and communications. The templates would be more evergreen and easy to update and adapt for different uses and topics. We introduced custom illustrations of children and doctors, which added an approachable, more human element to the materials and served as a constant reminder of who should be at the center of all decisions — kids.
